Dermatologists are GREAT!! Been in the field for 13 years :0) but if you did not want to spend the $$ to go see one you can try “unblemish” by rodan and fields…THIS STUFF ROCKS!!!!!!!

Yes, it helps to go see a dermatologist. There are so many products that are only available through a prescription. The co-pays for many of these products cost less (assuming you have typical insurance) than what it will cost for you to buy some over-the-internet product. The prescription product will also frequently last longer. Dermatologists really saved my skin. Some are definitely better than others — so the first one you come to might not be the right one for you, or he/she might be. Just look for one willing to work with you and take input and feedback.
