Guaranteed to work.. My 13-year-old daughter also has acne. Her doctor put her on Tetracycline but it didn't really help and it made her skin more sensitive to sunlight. Then she was switched to birth control pills, which are sometimes given to female acne sufferers to regulate the hormones that are causing the acne. It didn't really help either. I can't help but wonder if she will end up using Accutane, which I've heard is very effective but has side effects such as depression and is known to cause birth defects (I'm not too worried about that part at her age).
